This universe takes place in a fictitious modern day, based within a Red Light District set in London, England. It primarily centres around one business in particular, The Deadly Sinners, a strip club situated below a circus themed nightclub called Cirque Des Pécheurs.By definition, a Red-light District is a part of an urban area where a concentration of prostitution and sex-oriented businesses are found. Within this universe, the street is often referred to as "pleasure district", or less favourably, "whores junction".

This is definitely something he uses to deal with childhood trauma, wanting to forget about the fact his brother was found out to have murdered multiple people. He doesn't share his past with anyone and hates talking about his feelings. He's a very caring person though, and often takes on a paternal role toward those closest to him. His goal in life is to be happy and surrounded by people he loves and love him in return, and forget about his brother...

Though she had a good relationship with her father and eventual little sister, Elizabeth couldn't stop the anger she repressed from eventually surfacing, resulting in her killing her mother during a heated exchange. This was the beginning of Elizabeth's body count, as she went on to murder countless other people - mostly targeting those who hurt others and "deserved" it. She's an intuitive, intelligent and strong woman, and despite her secret violent hobby, is kind-hearted and can't help but want to protect others. She's a perfectionist, never letting anyone see her vulnerable or less than at her very best, but she fails to see this determination to be perfect is what influences her unresolved anger that she feels is only sedated after killing someone.

After meeting Jazz when she starts working at The Deadly Sinners, Kat quickly falls head over heels for her, feeling such blinding love she can't think straight. Kat has never felt the way she does about Jazz about anyone else, and all she wants its to protect her and give her the world. Kat has good intentions - she wants to be a good person, but she knows her unresolved traumas (and the fact she helps Elizabeth occasionally kill or discard of victims) are stopping her from being her very best; and that's what Jazz deserves, the best.

Being initially very guarded and mistrusting of people stems from her countless insecurities, and PTSD obtained from childhood that she fights tooth and nail everyday to get over.

Her father was never kind to her growing up however, and when Pearl came out as trans after leaving collage, the pair got into a heated altercation that ended with her accidentally shooting her father, dead. That's when she fled the country, getting away with a crime no one's ever found out about, and never will.

After a troubled childhood, he was arrested at 19 years old after being set up with the possession of drugs. After his release, he fully committed to a life of crime, getting into bank robbery and more dangerous gang activity. and cut ties with his immediate family. During his life of crime, he fell in love and got married, but their relationship fell apart a few years after the birth of his daughter, Sunny. After being arrested again, his wife filed for divorce. Markus' estranged sister, Francine, bailed him out of prison 2 years into his sentence. Markus tries to keep his head out of Francine's dangerous business (her being the head of a massive global crime syndicate), but the pay is good, and being able to treat his daughter and make her happy is the most important thing in the world to him...he'd do anything for her.
